Delivering a 57

I had a unique chance to skipper a 5788 Bayliner from Seattle to Anacortes. Gary, who helped bring down CP from Tacoma to the SF Bay, had the opportunity to help John Ripley of Banana Belt Boats move his inventory back from the Seattle Boat Show. John is one of the very best brokers on the West Coast and really knows Bayliner Motoryachts.

The boat was much better than I remembered from the Ft Lauderdale show, but it was not for me. She rode very well and I loved the accommodations from the pilothouse forward. However, the salon with the galley down really didn't feel much larger than my 4788. If you like the layout, the 610 Mans are great and she was very responsive, very seaworthy, and had a great overall ride.

The photos is me underway from the 41 Maxum Gary was skippering.
