Digital Charts Good

There is all sorts of good news regarding digital charts. First of all, Maptech's exclusive to NOAA raster charts is over and you can download any or all charts at Free Boating Charts. Also, NOAA is making ENC's available for free as well. They claim they have all the major ports complete at this point.

Nobeltec is supposed to work with the BSB raster charts today. I don't think Nobeltec is supporting ENC in the version I currently own. Keeping digital charts fully updated is a huge step forward.

Update: It looks like Nobeltec 8.0 supports NOAA ENCs as well.
