This is the official Kaboom post. Here is the scoop. Carolina Pacific will be anchored out where Pier 34 used to be. Please note that odd Piers are north of the Bay Bridge and even Piers are south. For the boaters, we'll be at N 37 47.1 W 122 23.16 and monitoring VHF-72. We will also have access to email and SMS. Note that as we get close to the event time the cells usually get overloaded. Also note that there will be a Giants game that afternoon at 1:05PM vs. the Dodgers. Parking will be horrible. The KFOG page has public transit and parking ideas.

My mobile number is on the Evite. We will be picking people up at 5PM and 6PM on the North guest dock of South Beach Harbor which is Pier 40. They have a map of the guest dock in PDF and the street address is Pier 40 and The Embarcadero. In past years we've picked up on the South guest dock so note that this is the one on the Bay Bridge side of Pier 40. We have about three dingys so we should have plenty of seats and space to transfer everyone to the boats.

This should be fun! The forecast is for sunny but a bit cooler than we've been experiencing so make sure you have San Francisco appropriate cool weather gear.
